Spectra Recruitment Pty Ltd are currently seeking a Diesel Fitter for our multi-site plant and equipment hire company. This is an ongoing rostered FIFO opportunity based at their site in Weipa.

Your New Role

This position is FIFO out of Brisbane on a 2/1 roster to Weipa Site. You will support a maintenance team in improving plant reliability. Duties include:

  • Complete preventative maintenance routines onsite with mobile earthmoving equipment
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of machines
  • Prepping machinery for mine sites
  • Fault finding and diagnosing equipment
  • Rebuild opportunity (if experienced)
  • Test and expand your skills on Next Gen Equipment
  • Carry out inspection checklists on all equipment when returned
  • Contribute towards the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment
  • Follow WHS directives
